BrightChamps is one of the fastest-growing EdTech companies in the world. That trial is the heartbeat of their business. But as BrightChamps scaled, the process of reminding parents, qualifying leads and following up around trial classes evolved into an important opportunity for optimization.

Sales teams spent countless hours on repetitive reminder calls. Instructors often began trial classes with limited context about each student, making it harder to personalize the experience. As BrightChamps grew, the opportunity to re-engage past leads and further improve trial attendance and completion rates became an area ripe for enhancement. The expanding sales team was focused on new opportunities and scaling with high efficiency.

From manual reminders to AI agents

What struck the BrightChamps team was how quickly Retell agents felt usable. Prompts could be adjusted on the fly. Voices could be swapped, tuned, or even cloned. Sales teams didn’t need to hardcode flows.

Within weeks, Retell was running live calls. Agents reminded parents to attend trial classes, collected background details for lead qualification, and re-engaged leads who had shown initial interest but hadn’t followed through. Even on the paid side, AI agents nudged inactive learners to return.
