CloudTalk Alternatives With AI Voice Agents

A CloudTalk alternative is either another calling platform for outbound-heavy sales and support teams, such as Aircall, JustCall, Dialpad, PhoneBurner or Orum, or an AI voice agent platform such as Retell that places and answers calls itself instead of dialing for a rep.
The two solve different problems. A power or parallel dialer makes each rep faster: the software dials, and a person talks to whoever answers. An AI voice agent takes the first conversation off the rep's plate entirely, and hands the interested contacts to a person.
Retell AI publishes this guide and is one of the options compared. Retell is an AI voice agent platform, not a cloud phone system or a rep-facing dialer, and it has no native CloudTalk integration. Every vendor price and feature here comes from that vendor's own website, read on November 6, 2026, and is linked where it is cited.
Do you need a faster dialer for reps or AI agents that make the calls?
Decide who talks first on each call, because the shortlist depends on it.
- A power dialer calls one number after another for a rep, so nobody dials by hand. Most of the platforms below include one or sell it as an add-on.
- A parallel dialer calls several numbers at once for one rep and connects the first person who answers. It suits high-volume prospecting where most calls go unanswered. See our parallel dialer entry for how it differs from power and predictive dialing.
- An AI voice agent campaign has the agent place every call, hold the conversation, retry contacts who did not answer, and transfer the ones who need a person. The rep's time goes to the conversations the agent qualified.
Most outbound teams end up using both: a dialer for the reps' own prospecting, and AI agents for reminders, reactivation, follow-ups and first-touch qualification at a volume reps cannot cover.

What does CloudTalk do well?
CloudTalk is a full cloud phone system and call center for sales and support teams, and it is fair to say what it offers before comparing alternatives. All figures below are from CloudTalk's pricing page in its US dollar view.
- Published plans. Starter is $25, Essential $29 and Expert $49 per user per month billed annually, or $34, $39 and $69 billed monthly. Starter and Essential need one license; Expert needs three. Customers billed in the US (and in Canada from December 2, 2026) also pay an 11% Compliance and Administrative Cost Recovery Fee on the software subscription.
- A full dialer suite. The Power Dialer is a $15 per user per month add-on and is included in Expert. The Parallel Dialer is a $39 per user per month add-on that dials up to 10 numbers at once with answering machine detection.
- Reach. Local numbers in 160+ countries, and branded caller ID as an add-on from $0.07 per call for US and UK numbers.
- AI Voice Agents. They start at $99 a month for 200 minutes, with an AI Specialist tier from $349 a month for 1,000 minutes, and handle 70+ languages and accents. A 14-day trial includes 50 AI Voice Agent minutes. The pricing page lists SOC 2, GDPR and HIPAA.
If those fit, staying on CloudTalk is a reasonable plan. The alternatives make sense when the cost of dialer add-ons, seat minimums, fees or the way AI minutes are bundled points elsewhere.
How we picked and compared the alternatives
We included calling platforms used by outbound sales and support teams in the US that publish a pricing page on their own site, plus one AI voice layer (Retell, the publisher of this guide). Orum publishes no prices, and we say so rather than estimate. Three rules applied:
- Vendor pages only. No review sites, affiliate lists or AI answers. A second reviewer re-fetched every vendor page on the same day and re-checked each fact; anything that could not be confirmed was cut.
- No ranking. Platforms are listed in no particular order, because we did not score them. Choose by fit, using the checklist near the end.
- Dated prices. Prices are as published on November 6, 2026. Billing periods, seat minimums and dialer packaging differ by vendor, so the table states each one.

The CloudTalk alternatives, one by one
Aircall
Aircall lists Essentials at $30 and Professional at $50 per license per month, billed annually, with a minimum of 3 licenses; annual plans are 25% cheaper than monthly. Professional adds a Power Dialer that imports up to 1,000 numbers and dials them in sequence, plus outbound call campaigns with automated retries. Every plan includes 50 AI Voice Agent minutes a month, extra minutes cost $0.29 per minute or come in monthly bundles, and the agents support trigger-based outbound calling with voicemail detection in 38 languages.
Fit: teams that split time between inbound support and outbound follow-ups and want a power dialer in the mid-tier plan.
JustCall
JustCall lists Team at $29, Pro at $49 and Pro Plus at $89 per user per month billed annually, each with a 2-license minimum. Pro includes a power dialer. The quote-only SalesPro plan adds a predictive dialer for up to 10 lines plus power and dynamic dialers. JustCall's AI Voice Agent is priced per minute with volume discounts down to $0.15, includes the first 100 minutes free, and lists an outbound agent among its use cases.
Fit: sales teams that want multi-line dialing from a phone system vendor rather than a separate dialer.
Dialpad
Dialpad Sell lists Essentials at $39, Advanced at $59 and Premium at $79 per user per month on the annual view. Advanced adds Reach Booster, which is local presence dialing plus voicemail drop. Dialpad's contact center product, Dialpad Support, includes a Power Dialer in its $89 Essentials plan. Advanced plans are available month-to-month or annual, Premium plans are annual only, and Dialpad prices its AI agents per conversation on a custom quote.
Fit: sales teams that want local presence dialing from the same vendor as the company phone system.
PhoneBurner
PhoneBurner is a dedicated power dialer. It lists Standard at $140, Professional at $165 and Premium at $183 per user per month billed annually, or $165, $195 and $215 billed monthly. Every plan includes power dialing; Premium adds a PhoneBurner number, custom inbound routing, and call transcription with an AI note-taker.
Fit: reps who spend the day in a one-line power dialer and can keep a separate phone system for the rest of the company.
Orum
Orum does not publish prices. Pricing is on request, based on package and number of users, with a 9-seat minimum. Plans include a power dialer, a parallel dialer and AI detection, with no dial limits on paid plans.
Fit: SDR teams of nine or more that want parallel dialing as the core product and will go through a sales process to get a price.
What does Retell cost per minute?
Retell's pricing page, read on November 6, 2026, lists pay-as-you-go AI voice agents from $0.07 per minute, with $10 in free credits, 20 free concurrent calls and no seat licenses. Enterprise pricing is custom. If you see a different per-minute figure for Retell elsewhere, the pricing page is the source to check.
That per-minute price is the sum of the parts you choose, and the same page lists each one:
| Component on Retell's pricing page | Price per minute, Nov 6 2026 |
|---|---|
| Retell Voice Infra | $0.055 |
| Voice (text to speech) | $0.015 for Retell platform voices; some ElevenLabs voices up to $0.10 |
| LLM | Varies by model, for example $0.04 for GPT 5.1 on the standard tier |
| Telephony | $0.015 for US numbers through Twilio; no charge for SIP trunking or custom telephony |
Worked example from that table: Retell Voice Infra ($0.055) plus a Retell platform voice ($0.015) plus GPT 5.1 ($0.04) plus a US Twilio number ($0.015) comes to $0.125 per minute. Larger models and premium voices cost more, so price the exact model and voice you plan to run. Once Retell transfers a call to a person, the AI voice agent fee stops and only the telephony fee continues.
Should you replace CloudTalk or add AI voice agents?
Replace CloudTalk if the problem is the platform: dialer add-on costs, the 11% fee, seat minimums, or a feature your reps need. Add AI voice agents if the problem is call volume your reps cannot cover: reminder calls, reactivation, follow-ups, or first-touch qualification of every new lead.

Compliance screening is a tool, not a legal opinion. Whether an AI-placed call needs prior consent depends on the call and the rules that apply to it, so check your outbound program with counsel.
Retell has no CloudTalk integration, so running both is ordinary telephony: the Retell agent calls from Retell-managed or imported numbers and transfers interested contacts to the CloudTalk number or queue your reps answer. Retell's CRM integrations sync contacts both ways with Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics 365, GoHighLevel and Zoho and can log each call to the CRM automatically (an optional setting, for contacts synced from that CRM), so reps see the agent's calls next to their own. Retell is SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 certified and HIPAA compliant, with a BAA available for self-signing, per its compliance docs.
Which option fits your team?
- Stay on CloudTalk if your reps use its power or parallel dialer daily and international numbers matter.
- Add Retell next to CloudTalk if reps spend their day on calls an agent could handle, such as reminders, reactivation or first-touch qualification.
- Move to Aircall if you want a power dialer and outbound campaigns in a mid-tier plan with AI minutes included.
- Move to JustCall if you want predictive dialing for up to 10 lines from a phone system vendor.
- Move to Dialpad if local presence dialing and voicemail drop for sales reps are the priority.
- Move to PhoneBurner if your reps want a dedicated one-line power dialer.
- Move to Orum if you run nine or more SDRs and parallel dialing is the core of the job.
Before you sign, ask four questions: what a seat costs once dialer add-ons and fees are included, how AI minutes are billed past the bundle, how a contact moves from the AI agent or dialer to a rep with context, and which compliance checks run before a number is dialed. For more on dialers, see our best outbound dialers roundup and the local presence dialing entry.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best CloudTalk alternative?
It depends on who should talk first. For a faster dialer for reps, Aircall, JustCall, Dialpad, PhoneBurner and Orum are the common shortlist. For AI agents that place and answer calls themselves, a voice agent platform such as Retell can run alongside CloudTalk or replace its AI Voice Agents.
How much does CloudTalk cost?
As of November 6, 2026, CloudTalk lists $25, $29 and $49 per user per month billed annually, or $34, $39 and $69 billed monthly. The Power Dialer adds $15 per user per month (included in Expert), the Parallel Dialer adds $39, and AI Voice Agents start at $99 a month for 200 minutes. US customers also pay an 11% cost recovery fee on the software subscription.
How much does Retell AI cost per minute?
Retell's pricing page, read on November 6, 2026, lists pay-as-you-go AI voice agents from $0.07 per minute. The exact rate is the sum of the components you choose: Retell Voice Infra at $0.055 per minute, plus the voice, the LLM and telephony. For example, a Retell platform voice, GPT 5.1 and a US Twilio number come to $0.125 per minute.
Which CloudTalk alternatives have a parallel dialer?
On their pricing pages, Orum includes a parallel dialer in its plans and JustCall's SalesPro plan includes a predictive dialer for up to 10 lines. CloudTalk itself sells a Parallel Dialer add-on that dials up to 10 numbers at once.
Can I keep CloudTalk and use Retell?
Yes, through ordinary telephony. Retell has no native CloudTalk integration, so the Retell agent calls from Retell-managed or imported numbers and transfers contacts who need a person to the CloudTalk line your reps answer. Once a call is transferred, Retell's AI voice agent fee stops and only the telephony fee continues.
Let AI agents make the calls your reps should not
A better dialer makes each rep faster, but every connected call still needs a person. AI voice agents change that math for reminders, reactivation and first-touch qualification: the agent holds the conversation and hands the right contacts to a rep. Retell is an AI voice agent platform that runs outbound campaigns and inbound lines on its own numbers and transfers to the phone number your team answers, so it works next to CloudTalk or any other phone system.
