Find your Dynamics 365 environment URL. Open Dynamics 365 in your browser and copy everything in the address bar up through .dynamics.com (for example, https://your-org.crm.dynamics.com); don't include anything after it. This is called the Dataverse URL; Dataverse is simply the data platform Dynamics 365 runs on. You can also find it in the Power Platform admin center, under Environments.
In Retell, go to Integrations, open the Available tab, find Microsoft Dynamics 365, and click Connect.
In the dialog that opens, you can rename the connection or keep the suggested name, then paste in the environment URL from Step 1. Click Connect to continue.
A Microsoft sign-in window opens. Sign in with a Microsoft account that has access to your Dynamics 365 environment, and approve the permissions it asks for. Tip: use an account set up specifically for integrations rather than one person's login, so the connection won't break if that person changes roles.
Retell runs a quick check (called "WhoAmI") to confirm the connection works. Once it passes, Microsoft Dynamics 365 appears on the Connected tab, and you can set up contact sync or start using agent functions.
Inbound call → look up Contact by phone in Dynamics 365 → agent greets by name → after the call, analysis results write back to the Contact and a Phone Call activity is logged
Contact sync keeps Retell's contact list aligned with Dynamics 365 — see the Microsoft Dynamics 365 contact sync docs. For the full list of agent actions, see the Microsoft Dynamics 365 functions docs.
